About Multiply Wilmington

Multiply is a church committed to ministering to each community it serves. It’s a place where you can find life, freedom, family, and purpose. When you gather at Wilmington, you join with a family of believers with many locations but one goal – to multiply.

The God Sized Dream

In 2019 God was calling us to the greatest adventure of our lives, to plant a church! Unsure of where that would be, we leaned on the Lord for wisdom and direction as we prayed over possible locations. After praying and visiting many cities, the Lord said YES to Wilmington – a city of 130,000 people longing for a spirit-filled and spirit-led church. It became evident that God wanted us to build His Kingdom here – we had captured the heart of God for this city. As we took this leap of faith, we specifically asked God to partner us with a parent church. God answered that prayer the day we ran into Pastor Doug Witherup at a coffee shop in Richmond, VA. We are so thankful, humbled, and excited to be part of the Multiply family. The love and support we have received is making the impossible possible, and giving us the freedom to run hard after God and reach a city as church planters!!

This is something you will hear often at Multiply Wilmington. We are dedicated to actively pursuing the plan and purpose God has for our lives above our own. Why not go? Why not serve? Why not love? Whatever God is calling you to do, WHY NOT? We are excited for the story He is writing for Multiply Church in Wilmington, and believe that God has a plan that is greater than we can ask or imagine.
